QuickBooks Basics- October 2014
The Stony Brook Small Business Development Center is offering QuickBooks Basics.
A certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor will teach you basic uses and features of QuickBooks including: setting up, working with QuickBooks lists and bank accounts, entering sales, invoices and receiving payments, creating reports, graphs and analyzing financial data in a computer lab setting. This is for Windows based computers - not MAC.
Prerequisites: Practical beginner's computer skills; word processing and navigation. Knowledge of business
applications such as Excel would be helpful in that you must be able to navigate a database. No QuickBooks experience required. Materials will be distributed the first evening.
