Budget Vote and Trustee Election

The Glen Cove Public Library will present its annual budget to the citizens of Glen Cove for a vote on Tuesday, April 30. Polls will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The public will also be asked to vote for one member of the five-member Library Board of Trustees for a five-year term. A hearing on the library budget and a chance to meet the trustee candidates will be held in the History Room on Tuesday, April 16 at 7 p.m.

Talented landscape artist Barbara Lewin will guide you step-by-step in a series of three painting classes.  She’ll teach you how to paint a spring landscape scene with acrylic paint. Head to the North Shore Historical Museum  for an annual raffle drawing with poetry and music. This is a free event, but donations of canned or nonperishable food items are requested for the Glen Cove Soup Kitchen.

 

BID Board Meeting

The Glen Cove Downtown Business Improvement District's monthly board of director's meeting will take place on Thursday, May 2, 2019, at 12 p.m. Location TBD. Cost for lunch (optional) is $12. RSVP required.
