DENNY LAINE of WINGS / MOODY BLUES acoustic duo
Opening - The Legendary RT
Also appearing Chris Kinnear
TICKETS $40
Denny Laine is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the start of Wings' Greatest Tour, the "Wings Over The World" tour, which supported their most successful albums, "Band on the Run" and "Venus and Mars". Denny is doing his acoustic duo, sampling his own catalog from the Moody Blues ("Go Now", "I'll Go Crazy"), Wings ("Time to Hide" "Band On The Run", and more!), his solo years and his personal favorites from the likes of Buddy Holly and others. Expect other Wings hits such as "Live and Let Die",  and "Time to Hide" as well as Denny's legendary lead vocal on the Moody Blues classic "Go Now" to round out this special anniversary show.
Arthur Hine, aka RT, has been a quiet background influence in American recorded music for over 40 years. Along the way he had a record company (Armtrac Records), managed one of the greatest unknown bands in history (Sneaky Cookin'), and wrote songs for various artists, such as Howie Wyeth and Marianne Faithful. Raspy-voiced and grey-bearded, he is a "surprise baby," re-entering Blues scene after a 30 year lay-out, taking Woodstock venues by storm with a combination of ironic lyrics, catchy tunes and off beat rhythms.
Chris Kinnear is a singer/songwriter/guitarist based in the New York area. He is currently working on a new cd, which he hopes to release in early 2015. He performs locally on a regular basis, but has played all over the northeast. Chris also spent some time in Europe as a solo performer. His past recording credits include the cd "Musical Train Wreck" with Reckless Abandon, and the cd "Goodnight Ladies" with Captain Vic.

JIM DAWSON - ROY BOOK BINDER
Tickets $35
Please print out your email receipt and bring it with you to the show
Jim Dawson is truly a "Friend of My Father's Place" who has performed for us over the years right from the begining of the original club. Today, Jim is performing regularly in the NYC area. He just finished a new CD called "Little Off the Road Motel". He is one of those rare songwriters that can successfully interpret our feelings as we continue to grow and grow older. His new songs are wonderful with the usual great melodies and perceptive lyrics.

LAURA NYRO birthday tribute - back by demand;
Christine and Elliot Spero play Laura in a super concert ..    CHRISTINE SPERO GROUP PERFORMS MUSIC OF LAURA NYRO TICKETS $35
“Laura’s music is in fine hands with Christine Spero who is a terrific musician. She can play and sing Laura’s songs like few others. She knows this music inside out, and rises to the challenge on each song singing with expressiveness and power. At times her voice sounds like she could be Laura’s twin sister! It's such challenging music to sing, and she does it so beautifully. I don't think I've ever heard anyone who's voice naturally sounds as much like Laura's as Christine's does (although it is certainly distinguished in it's own way). I also thoroughly enjoyed Christine's original song, "Laura and John". The arrangements are true to Laura’s originals but with some sweet creative touches as well. The band members are all pros and Christine can really play that piano! Laura’s fans should really enjoy this recording. Christine is a very talented woman, and I'm so glad she did such a beautiful job with my sister's music." Jan Nigro - Brother of Laura Nyro -
