Much has changed over time in Nassau County--farms have vanished, new highways have been built, historic buildings and sites have been obliterated, and housing developments and shopping centers of all types and sizes have sprung up. Yet despite all of this "progress," there are still glimmers of the county's storied past scattered throughout the county. Enjoy a lecture and book signing with author Richard Panchyk and learn about what is in our own backyards!
